Last night, there was either a full moon, or a harvest moon, and the skies were fairly clear (unusual for England!). DH and I tried setting up our tripod and Galileoscope to have a look in the back garden, but we might be missing (or probably just haven’t found) part of the tripod to slot the scope into so it can be supported without us having to hold onto it all the time. Bollocks. It’s not missing off the face of the earth – it’s got to be around somewhere. Oh well – we’ll get another chance to sky-gaze another night. We did get the Galileoscope out of the garage, so that now it’s inside the house.
Smokey, one of our cats, came outside with us.
